A Prime Example of Why We Do What We Do
The Dream Chef Kitchen website is the hub for Custom Curated Meals produced under the brand by Chef Nichelle Benford In Chicago. With a heavy focus on nutritional value and homestyle taste her award winning namesake and brand has personified "personal perfection with big brand upswing". Brands such as these who don't just create a name for show and tell but who devote personal hands on time and sweat equity into; and are the heart and soul of their business.
Objective
To create a refined branded website and e-commerce platform that communicates quality, design sensibility, improved user flow and design structure.
The Challenge
Chef Nichelle came to us with a brand strong in its initial roots in custom culinary meal preparation. With a proven solid following yet lacked a cohesive digital presence we saw it as an excellent opportunity to revive and polish their website previously built on another DIY online builder platform.
The site visuals didn’t reflect the premium quality and hard work put into the products, and the website experience failed to engage users visually or produce conversions.
We needed to improve upon visual aesthetics, content placement, site efficiency and user flow in order to make users meal planning and purchase experience a smooth one.
The End Result
The new look website design brought clarity and polish with a professional on brand, modern layout and an improved user experience, the completed e-commerce site led to increased recognition and interactions within it's first 60 days.
